My wife and I bought a pair of City Runs about a month ago.

Assembly was easy. The disposal of the boxes actually took longer.

We found the free baskets to be too big, too heavy, and made riding difficult especially on tight turns. So we took them off the bikes.

The bolt securing my seat to the post bent after a couple weeks. Basically I couldn't keep the seat secured no matter how much torque I applied. I emailed customer service and they didn't respond. A little disappointed at that but a $0.10 bolt isn't going to keep me down.

The bikes are well built. The battery is very good. Yesterday we biked +73 km on Ottawa's amazing bike trails, including an hour in a downpour and those bike just kept on going. By the end my battery was flashing and hers still had 2 bars (she is half my weight).

We are very satisfied with our purchase. We feel like we're 12 again riding our bikes smiling the whole way. We feel like we are getting terrific value from them, so if you are considering buying these bikes, I would 100% do it again.

I love this bike and it’s a great ride. My only complaint is that whoever assembled the bike before shipping missed a major issue. After riding for about two weeks, I kept noticing how the back brake lever was getting more and more loose. Finally, it failed, and I could see the brake fluid leaking out around the caliper on the rear wheel. Took it in to my bike shop and he found two screws on the brake assembly that were almost completely “undone”. This allowed the fluid to leak out of the line. He also told me the brake pad was worn down and almost gone. Once he fixed it, I immediately noticed that the rear wheel was spinning very well, so we knew that the brake pad had been in contact and rubbing with the wheel rail since the bike first arrived. I would double check this on your own bike when it arrives as that could have been a bad situation if the brake had failed while riding.

We take them everywhere we travel to. They are so much fun to ride. Customer support is amazing if you need to contact them for any questions. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to buy an electric bike to get them thru Heybike👍

I am very satisfied with my Cityrun bike: fast delivery and in good condition. I have only one downside: I wrote to Heybike because one of the two brakes was not working. I wrote to Heybike about this on August 1st and I received no response. I had to take my bike to a specialist to correct the situation at a cost of $28 CAD. In addition, I wrote the same day to find out how to change the mph to Km/h: same result i.e. no return. In summary, the mechanics are excellent but the after-sales service is deplorable.
