What is the difference between Hybrid and Venus?
Hybrid and Venus are designed for different riding preferences.
Venus is lighter, requires a lower inseam, and feels more nimble, which isideal for riders with a smaller build or those who prefer agile city cruising.
Hybrid offers a more grounded, stable ride with a higher 440 lb payload capacity (vs. 350 lb on Venus). It also features a larger 864Wh battery for extended range, while Venus is equipped with a 680Wh battery. In addition, Hybrid comes with a hydraulic suspension fork, whereas Venus uses a rigid aluminum fork.
In short:
- Choose Hybrid for longer range, greater payload, and a sturdier ride feel.
- Choose Venus for lighter weight and nimble everyday riding.
Is Hyrbrid's fork adjustable?
Yes. The fork features adjustable suspension stiffness and a lockout function, controlled by knobs on the top of the fork.
Does Hybrid comes with a rear rack and fenders?
Yes. The rear rack and rear fender come pre-installed. The front fender is included in the box and requires installation.
How to switch between Class 2 and Class 3 modes? Can I customize the speed for each PAS level?
You can switch riding classes in two ways:
- Via the Heybike app
On the home screen, choose from three riding profiles: Eco, Sport, or Custom.
Eco = Class 2
Sport = Class 3
Speed settings for PAS and throttle can be adjusted under Personalize → Speed Settings.
- Via the display settings
On the display, the change can be made through manual adjustment of top speed.
