Unlimited fun with these excellent ebikes!

We did test rides on several different ebikes and found we like the ride of Heybikes best. We purchased 2 Ranger Heybikes a year ago and we’re so glad we did, we absolutely love them. We took them west last summer and gave them a workout in all the national parks we visited. We rode them on the roads of the Grand Canyon, Zion and Yosemite plus the Coeur D’Alenes bike trail in Idaho and the Mickelson trail in South Dakota and so many others. Cruised around our campgrounds, took them for picnics and had so much fun. These bikes exceeded our expectations! They easily climbed any hill and smoothly cruised along the straightaways. Sturdy, dependable, comfortable solid ride with a super range. Heybikes customer support is the best support I’ve experience in a long time. Had a question about a noise, they help diagnose it and provided detailed guidance on how to fix it. Fantastic customer service! If you are shopping for an ebike, look no further. The Heybike product and support is the best.

I bought my cityrun in November and I took it on a super long bike I think it was 18 miles after not being on a bike in over 15 years! It took a lot of getting used to especially cuz the bike is a bit larger than I am height wise. I had to remove the drink holder cuz I almost wiped out handfuls of times trying to get off my bike. I did receive the bike with the need of brake maintenance which was a whopping $115 for a 15 min brake job outrageous in my opinion but it was very needed. I received the two baskets for my bike but I opted out and put bags on my bike instead. I ride this bike daily since the snow broke here in Michigan, rain or shine. Bike operates just fine in pouring rain (against my will. Work) and I can definitely ride my bike with the traffic on the less busy main roads. Crazy! Haha. I love the horn, I love the turning signals and I love the speed of my bike! The bike is super duper comfortable to ride on too! Everyone asks me if my city run is electric because it seems similar to a regular bike. I’m a large woman and other large women tell me they want an electric type bike/scooter but can’t cuz of weight limits and I tell them all it has a great limit haha as a large woman I am very grateful for the large capacity for weight on these bikes! My weight doesn’t affect the speed of my bike as well. Makes me feel great I can go places and feel like a contribution to this community! I do not have my license so heybike has opened so many doors for me. One thing that really bugs me about the odometer for miles is that it doesn’t clock in the mileage that isn’t a full mile. So a quick 1.5 mile ride only shows up as a 1 when the battery is turned off. Bugs me quite a bit since I like to know how many lifetime miles will be going onto my bike. I currently have 137 miles clocked on my bike but I know I have about 10-20 more than that with the half miles that never got marked. Also if you ever leave the switch on the battery on the hours on the pedometer show up and that kinda bugs me as well but not as much as the miles. I love how the handle bars are designed for the bike as well. Like everything about this bike screams style and comfort. I wasn’t expecting the wide tires but I like them. The charging time is like charging your phone. A couple hours of charging time and your bike is on the road. I’ve only had to charge my bike four times. I usually ride the bike to low battery but the last charge I needed to charge it with two bars because the bike was struggling to go full speed (nothing I feel I should worry about) the battery gauge does fluctuate depending on how you use the motor and pedal assist especially when it’s getting low. Every once in a while the motor likes to hiccup just like the gears do when switching them, it kind of has the same effect.. like how the chain does the skip and you gotta do a few rotations with the pedals to fix the kinks the motor kind of does the same thing especially when I stop and go a lot for stop signs and traffic. I haven’t had anything drastic happen with the functionality of the bike. This bike has become my personality just like bike was life when I was a kid! These bikes are solid sturdy and perdy! And in my own words super bada**! When I bought this bike my bank froze my account due to suspicious transactions because it’s from Hong Kong. There was also a currency fee that came along with the purchase of my bike of $37. Not sure how the tariff business is going but anything I have ordered from China would not be shipped to me as of April 27 2025 so that is also something to think about. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made! Top five for sure. I am contemplating buying the hauler as well so my daughter can ride along with me.

Enjoying the learning process

Rolled the bike a few days getting used to it. I'm 73 years old and 6 foot 3. The bike is easy to control and fun to drive. I find when you kick it up to assist level three and put it on gear 6 it's a real comfortable cruise. I'm enjoying the experience

Very happy with my CityRun purchase

This is the third ebike I have owned (1st Heybike) . I have a folding ebike so I can put it in the trunk and explore other trails, but I do not like how the PAS power is so uneven. It is not fun to ride. The Cityrun is super smooth going from each PAS level. I can go about 23 MPH pedaling in PAS 5. It rides nicer than my other ebikes I have owned. Looks good too. Also, I found a bike rack by "Allen" co that will hold a bike up to 70lbs. The Cityrun is 62lbs, I take off the battery to make it 52lbs and it works very well on the rack (with the cross bar attachment). So now my folding ebike sits in the spare room and the Cityrun goes everywhere. My only beef is with the set up. There was a plastic spacer in the front wheel disk brakes and there was no instructions to remove it. After a long time struggling, I finally took it off and it went on easy. Also the stem assembly was harder than I expected. The video makes it look really easy. This bike is perfect for me. I have 200 miles in 1 month. All just for fun. Great value.
