3 week review

I've had two Mars 2.0 750 watt bikes for almost 3 weeks. Assembly was relatively easy and took 1.5 hours for the first one and.75 hours for the second one. The rear baskets are difficult to install imo. Two main problems I encountered with installation. 1. The cable for the motor was pre-routed behind the kickstand and was literally touching the brake rotor. The sheathing was cut and I had a motor error. I re routed it in front of the kickstand and taped it up. Customer service just keeps asking for more pictures even though I have sent detailed pics. So a permanent solution has not occurred. The second issue was the alignment of the handlebars is tough to get right the way its setup!
I'm a 185 lb. rider. I have been getting around 30 miles range maximum with a variety of pedal assist 2 thru 5 and some all throttle. We have a very hilly terrain. I've use both on paved roads and off roat atv trails. It does very well on both. It's a lot of fun! The upright riding style takes some getting used to. Overall it's a comfortable ride but sometimes I do feel a little cramped. I am 6'-0". The tires have held up well. The biggest test has been a road that is made up of crushed loose brick bats with sharp edges. The brakes are horribly squeaky! But they do get us stopped. They needed minor adjustments out of the box. Headlight and taillight look cheap but they work well. I like the pas customization settings in the app. It's easy and works well. They are heavy bikes! But it was expected. And overall they are manageable loading in and out of a truck bed. I feel like the folding functionality is a little clunky but haven't really used it much either. The kids absolutely love them! Overall they seem pretty well built!

Amazing!

My husband and I purchased the mars 2.0. We have only been able to ride them twice so far due to the weather but are really looking forward to summer time and camping with them. So far we are absolutely in love with them

Mars Combo bike review

Excellent bike so far. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the brake system. Overall fair brakes but the hydraulic would likely stop it more quickly. Otherwise very happy so far.

Joy riding

We went on a 15 mile initial joy ride. Up and down hills and long straight aways.
Just to get accustomed to the bikes.
Everything worked out well. Near the end of the ride, My rear wheel started making a rubbing sound. Maybe I braked too hard and the brake is not releasing completely. Maybe something else. I’ll investigate soon.
